In his songs, Clide deals with separation pains and farewells in the past that have left an emotional mark on him - with his emotional head voice and a powerful belly voice, he manages the balancing act between goosebump moments and pure emotions.

"Inspiring for me are situations, emotions, questions, fears - the most diverse occasions in and from my life, which I turn into songs. I like to experiment with my productions and take elements from different genres, be innovative. But at the end of the day, I want to make beautiful music that is meaningful to me and hopefully to many other people. It's important to me that it's authentic and special and doesn't sound like a song that could be from anyone. I'm very self-critical, but trust my gut, which tells me if what I did was good or not."
