Somewhere in Sicily, Luca Vasta stands by the sea and sings about a lost amore. She does this with so much longing, beauty and dolce vita that we immediately want to drive off to the south.
With driving beats and shimmering Italo guitars, the Sicilian accompanies us along the boot. Luca Vasta has long since created her very own Italo music world: sonorous, melancholic folk pop that has found its very distinctive sound between Sicily and Berlin. Or as she says herself: "I make spaghetti pop".
