Growing up in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg as the daughter of a musician and an artist, MOЯEA came into contact with music in her early childhood. She began playing the piano at the age of four and learnt to play the guitar shortly afterwards.

The German-American singer and songwriter has been writing her own songs since she was twelve. MOЯEA is always trying out new instruments for different songs and is inspired by life every day.

The melancholic, beautiful melody gets under your skin. "When I make music, I don't think about anything. I'm just being. I need it," is how MOЯEA describes the process of her creative fulfilment.
